New Shoes

This week I got a fresh set of 195 50 15 Achilles ATR Sports for my 15X7 mesh wheels.
I put them on with some cheap long lug nuts and now my car looks ridiculously high. I think the tyre size looks good but low NEEDS to happen soon. Its all in the works though.
Today I also put in my Nardi classic and 65mm spacer. This setup feels so much better and puts the wheel in a much nicer position than factory.
Also started painting the bonnet black...

Breathe Easy (ahaha)

I have been back in the south for a week or so on my uni holidays. Some of this time was used productively to swap my exhaust on Sunday. I bought this cat back second hand off trade me for what I thought was a good price and it is a suitable size for my sr20de so I was happy. It might hang a little low and I’m not sure about the cannon muffler but it will do for now.

Also earlier tonight I decided to pull out my charcoal canister and air conditioning (didn't work anyway). This made the engine bay a little less cluttered although you can’t really tell because of all the intake business going on.

Check out all the things I pulled out.

S13 Changes

Im pretty late on this update but it feels like a significant one.
Since my last post I have completed my manual conversion as well as swapped the diff and
axles for a R32 GTST R200 LSD setup . These two changes make the car ridiculously more
fun/interesting to drive.
While doing all this I included the following...
New factory clutch, GK tech solid shifter bushing and magnetic sump bung, braided clutch
line, new clutch slave cylinder,  new rear main seal and a black Nismo gear knob.

Thanks heaps to my homie Daniel for helping with all the shit tasks and then not being
around for the easy parts, couldn't have got it done without you.

Along with the bonnet hinge mod I have fitted a straight bonnet that happens to be white...
the straight bonnet highlights the fact that the rest of the front end is wonky so she has a
appointment with the panel beater in the coming weeks.

Also I have finished restoring a full set of these unknown mesh wheels.
Specs - 15x7 about 0 offset.
So these will be going on promptly when I return to the south.

HELLO!!!

Hey, I am Lincoln.

Earlier in the year I bought a 1991 Nissan S13 Silvia.
Automatic (eww!)  SR20DE
The car when I got it was fully stock with only the stereo changed.

Now it has recieved...
- Cusco strut braces front and rear
- Shaved boot
- Rust repairs
- New thermostat and water pump
I have lots of nice things stored up for it and more on the way, so this is I guess my way of keeping track of the cars progress.
For the sake of an introduction, my interests include BMX, snowboarding, bikes in general, design, automobiles and music

Here are some pictures from when drove down from Auckland the day after I got her, enjoy.

Introductions

Nightcall is a blog about the adventures and mis-adventures that come along with modifying and racing cars.

My name is Daniel and I race in the South Island BMW E30 series. Lincoln will be making an appearance shortly.

This is my first season of racing, and so far it has gone far from smoothly. I have, since the start of the season in September, cracked a head and blown 3 head gaskets for various reasons.

More to come.
